DURALOY would like to welcome Garrett Hadley, who will be taking on the role of Account Development Engineer, covering North America. As a recent Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering major from West Virginia University, he will assist with customer service in the Petroleum and Chemical Processing Industries. His time at WVU showed that he was not only an excellent student, but also an effective leader, which is shown by his Vice President position in AADE (American Association of Drilling Engineers). Along with other valuable experience, Garrett has shown his competency for this position and we are very happy to announce him as part of our team.

DURALOY announces the start of a major project to increase capacity, expand the sizes of tubes produced and improve material handling. The project involves the functional realignment of certain critical existing equipment as well as the addition of new, state-of-the-art casting and machining equipment.
New chemical analysis equipment has already arrived at Duraloy.
The new centrifugal casting equipment will be capable of producing petrochemical quality tubes down to 1.50" O.D.
The relocation of existing boring equipment and the addition of new state-of-the-art boring machines will allow DURALOY to offer a full range of tube sizes for all petrochemical applications as well as optimize and increase the output of these tubes.
The project started in the 3rd quarter of 2015, with equipment layout and installation modifications to be complete in the 3rd quarter of 2016, and commissioning and testing to be complete by the end of 2016.

Duraloy and the USW are pleased to announce that they have agreed on a contract extension that will continue until August, 2020.
On Tuesday July 28, union members voted in favor of the terms of the agreement, which calls for a four year extension.
This agreement allows Duraloy to assure uninterrupted production for its customers in keeping with Duraloy's on-time delivery commitment.
Union Local President Tom Keslar said: "The extension addressed important areas of concern for our members and provides additional long-term security."
Duraloy President Vince Schiavoni thanked the Union for their support and offered: "The extension highlights the cooperation of Union and Management working together to help insure the future success of Duraloy."

RMInnovation Limited was formed by Richard Miller to provide quality Consultancy services to the heavy engineering industry, in particular those companies operating in the steel, aluminium, mining, rail & energy sectors. Richard Miller has over 30 years experience in the metals and heavy manufacturing industry and key clients have included British Steel, Emirates Steel, Kvaerner, Honda UK Manufacturing Limited, SMS, WS Atkins and McLellan & Partners. Richard Miller has a vast range of experience from Project Engineering & Management through Operations Management and Business Development.
